“We are ALL IN!”

The “Road to College” is a central theme reiterated in every class, every lesson, every day. This is what makes Southland’s academic approach unique – our complete commitment to college readiness for all students. Our central focus in all we do is to ensure that our students have unlimited possibilities and unlimited potential.

In addition to the academic preparation that is the central focus of our approach, Southland offers every student an extensive, personal college counseling approach. Our counselors, seasoned professionals with vast experience and knowledge of college options and the full application process, work to ensure that all Southland students will be admitted to the colleges of their choice and will have the financial resources to make this college attendance a reality. To this end, our college counseling team works with each student to learn about their options, prepare for college, manage the application and decision process, and finance their college education. Our process is personal and begins early in students' tenure at Southland and involves families along the way.

We are achieving our goal of college for all Southland graduates. All of the graduates of Southland have been admitted to college. The Class of 2026 earned more than $50 million in merit and need-based scholarships alone and the first 13 graduating classes earned a total of more than $450 million in scholarships. Our graduates have been accepted by 50 of U.S. News & World Report’s Top 50 Colleges, and we have alumni accepted in eight of the eight Ivy League schools—plus Stanford.
